Today is eighteen days, which was two weeks and four days of the Omer, in the year 5783. נצח שבתפארת, Netzach ShebeTiferet, Enduring Balance, the Eternal seeking of Balance.

Cultivating the Will for Balance

In Judaism, we recognize no human will ever be perfect.

Eternal Balance is impossible to achieve.

Choosing to seek balance despite life’s setbacks requires Endurance.

Will: Putting the Desire for Endurance Into Action

Each moment, we have the opportunity to turn towards beautiful balance.

Each day, we can forgive ourselves for not being perfect.

With every breath, we can imagine reaching towards the balance we seek.

Don’t Fake It, Just Flow

No need to become a Stepford Wife.

Sometimes, anger needs to be let out.

Occasionally, frustration must be expressed.

I apologize to my family when I act out of balance.

I model the reflective lifestyle I seek for our family.

Endurance Comes From Grace

Netzach is below Chesed. Grace holds space for Eternity.

There is no way to muscle through our desire to uphold our values always.

There is only leaning into Flow.

And forgiving ourselves for being human.
