Grace within Gratitude, 29 Days Omer 5783

ocean waves crashing on rocks

Today is twenty-nine days, which is four weeks and one day of the Omer in the year 5783. חסד שבהוד, Chesed ShebeHod, Grace within Gratitude. Embracing the Divine despite the the chaos around us. How can we live into our fullness?

The Count Almost Stopped

I’m going through a rough patch.

I’m about a day behind in my meditations.

It’s almost 30 days of the Omer.

Working and Living and doing this is hard.

Have Grace For Ourselves

We’re doing the best we can.

I try to explain this to my kids…

that calling someone “annoying” creates a painful social space.

Holding space for people is hard work.

We’re still working on agreeing about this message…

Psalm 19

Last year, I wrote about Psalm 19.

Go read Robert Alter’s translation on that post.

“How long will the forces of Chaos loom over me?”

….

“But I in Your kindness do trust, my heart exults in Your rescue.

Let me sing to the Creator of Being, for She bountifully embraces me.”
