Grace in Balance, Truth, and Beauty: 15 Days of the Omer
Today is fifteen days, which is two weeks and one day of the Omer 5783. חסד שבתפארת, Chesed ShebeTiferet, Grace in Balance, Grace of Truth, Grace of Beauty. This is the week of perfect Harmony between Grace and Limits. These three emanations of the Divine form a triad: thesis, antithesis, synthesis. The right and left sides of the body are opposites. The middle synthesizes. Love emanates from the right, Limits from the left. Today, we are balanced, with the scales tipped towards Grace.
Beauty and Truth Are One
There is a reason mathematical proofs are beautiful.
There is a reason rational discourse can sing.
There is a reason beautiful art touches our souls.
At the place beyond words, beauty and truth are one.
Compassion Synthesizes Boundaries and Grace
Compassion without Limits is subservience.
Compassion without Grace is pity.
Compassion leaning toward the side of Grace helps us bring Holiness into the world.
Staying connected to the Source of Beauty and Truth
Ultimately, when we lean towards the aspect of Grace in Beauty,
We lean towards God.
When we flow into an exquisite song,
or a beautiful painting,
or a perfectly articulated Truth,
we are in the Chesed ShebeTiferet, the Grace of Beauty / Truth / Harmony.
Completing Work With a Focus on Truth
May we approach the people we encounter with Grace.
May we allow ourselves Grace when we are overwhelmed.
May the Truth guide us towards Compassion.
May we be conduits of Truth and Harmony.
