Today is forty-three days, which is six weeks and one day of the Omer in the year 5783. חסד שבשכינה, Chesed ShebeShechinah. Covenantal Love within Divine Presence. May Her Presence flow through us, girding us for the what lies ahead. May we have the strength to be conduits of love.
Flowery Words Don’t Get Kids Out the Door
Sometimes, it’s hard to write a mediation.
I feel guilty for the way I acted when cajoling my kid out the door this morning.
I am determined to care less.
To let go and accept that he will get late slips.
I’ve lost entire days to the guilt I feel over our morning battles.
Battles he forgets the moment we (finally) walk out the door.
Chant Prayers, Say Less
In the morning, I need to forget the internet exists.
Chanting prayers reminds me of Divine Presence.
Focusing on waking up to the miracle of living,
Rather than the problems of the world and my household.
Last Week of the Omer
Today begins the last week of the Omer count.
Embodying and Flowing with the Grace of God.
Praise HaShem, Praise The Name.
Words fail me as I move towards this celebratory weekend.
